My particular model of microwave had one screw visible but the other hidden behind a plastic ring. I needed to pop the ring out by disengaging the plastics clips using a putty knife; then it was an easy job of unscrewing the old handle and screwing the new one in. I replaced the screen filter (by sliding it to the rear), and then removed the filthy charcoal filter. Then I slid in the new charcoal filter and replaced it with a new screen filter. I repeated the other side. A piece of advice: the screen filter (silver one) comes with one per unit, where as the charcoal filter came with two per unit.
