This membrane switch is the flat control-panel overlay used to register button presses and protect underlying electronics, restoring responsive touch control and clear button labeling on compatible ranges and ovens. What it does:

  • Serves as the user-facing button/keypad that sends signals to the oven control board when pressed
  • Replaces worn, cracked, or unresponsive button areas that prevent reliable input
  • Helps restore normal control functions like bake, broil, timer and temperature entry when front-panel buttons fail
  • Protects the electronic switch contacts from spills and wear
What's included: One membrane switch/control-panel overlay. Install notes:
  • Always disconnect power to the appliance at the breaker before starting work
  • Remove the console or control housing per your model's service instructions to access the membrane switch
  • Handle the adhesive backing carefully; align the overlay precisely to ensure button function
  • Do not force connectors; replace only with the exact part number
