Very smooth. I ordered the door and the control panel. It is helpful to have an extra set of hands when removing the screws from the door or place something under it so it doesn’t drop. The door comes off with about 10 screws. They are different length. Short screws go into steel, long go into plastic. Remove the door and upper facia/control panel. We replaced the black door seal gasket around the front of the dishwasher. The old black seal gasket had begun to deteriorate, every time it was touched black stuff would rub off onto hands and onto utensils in the upper basket. We wore some disposable gloves to remove the old seal to avoid getting the black stuff on our hands. I changed the control board (00498022) in the door of my Thermador dishwasher. Thermador, Bosch, and Siemens all use the same board for the indoor controls and display. This required a #15-star head driver to remove the screws. I used an impact wrench (set to a low torq setting) to speed things up. There are approximately 12 screws to remove. Two are long. Removed water out of basin, down to the last inch.. Watched water rise slowly, and felt temperature, warm. This told me it was supply water. Ordered replacement part, two days just as mentioned, Removed as per video. Also choose to replace the waste line check valve, to affordable not too. I checked continuity at the float switch since I knew the inlet valve was working when direct wired to 120v. Switch did not have continuity. Replaced switch and inlet valve worked at start of cycle. Read more
