Range / Cooktop / Oven Filter
Genuine Whirlpool part
By: Whirlpool
Part Number: W11190170
The Filter is an OEM part for Whirlpool ranges. Installed at the base of the downdraft vent opening, this filter works to capture grease, smoke and odor particles emitted during cooking.
Causes of a bad filter can include natural saturation over many uses as it accumulates grease residue. Extremely high-heat or splattering cooking methods may also accelerate the clogging process.
Symptoms of an inefficient range downdraft filter include:
- Grease residue visible below the vent opening or on surrounding cabinetry
- Reduced effectiveness at extracting smoke, odors or steam from cooking surfaces
- Vent motor or fan starting to strain or make louder noises during use
This genuine OEM Whirlpool part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Kenmore models.

Genuine Bosch part
By: Bosch
Part Number: 00486902
Color: metallic. Measures about 13-1/2 inches wide by 5 inches high.
The Grease Filter is an OEM part for Bosch ranges and cooktops. It is responsible for capturing and containing grease, oils, and other vapors produced from cooking to help keep indoor air fresh and prevent buildup. Regular cleaning is important to maintain optimal performance.
Causes of a bad grease filter can include excess buildup that blocks airflow from frequent high-heat cooking. Exposure to flames or excessive heat may cause damage over time as well.
Symptoms of a bad grease filter include:
- Reduced suction power and airflow from the range hood
- Grease accumulation on surrounding surfaces below the hood
- Unpleasant cooking odors escaping into the kitchen rather than being vented outside
This genuine OEM Bosch part is also compatible with Thermador, Gaggenau and select Kenmore models.

Genuine Ge part
By: Ge
Part Number: WB02X10310
This is a genuine OEM replacement grease filter for use on cooktops. The air filter is used during cooking to filter smoke, grease, and other air contaminants from the air. When food is overheated, and smoke fills the kitchen, the air filter will pull the smoke from the air through the filter and out the exhaust. This helps to keep the air in the house odor and smoke-free. Odors can alter the way food tastes, so keeping the air and grease filter changed can help when serving food and how it is received. This filter also catches grease particles when cooking food in oil. These spatters will eventually clog the filter and necessitate the need to remove and replace it. If the filter is not removed, the air will not be able to circulate through it, and the filter will not work efficiently. Removal does not require tools. The filter is simply pulled out of the cavity and a new one placed in the cavity. The old filter should be discarded; this is not a filter that can be washed and reused. This filter is a black metal part that is sold individually. It is designed for stovetops and ranges manufactured by General Electric.
