This skirt gasket seals the lower edge of an oven door to help keep heat in and reduce cooking-time heat loss. It restores the door's sealing surface for more even baking and safer exterior temperatures. What it does:
- Replaces a worn or torn skirt gasket that lets heat escape from the oven cavity.
- Helps maintain consistent oven temperature and can improve cooking performance.
- Reduces hot spots and limits heat transfer to the control panel and surrounding cabinetry.
- Common symptom: visible gaps at the bottom of the door or increased heat felt near the oven base.

Install notes:
- High-level replacement; remove oven door or open per appliance manual before starting.
