We had ordered and installed the drip pans and when we took a look, we knew we needed new elements. Those were perfect; exact replacement. The problem was on the eight inch units, the rim of the drip pan touched the element. It was a simple matter of removing a small bit of the drip pan where the element enters. REPLACED NEW RIGHT FRONT POWER BURNER. THIS DID NOT FIX THE PROBLEM. I THEN REPLACED THE BURNER CONNECTING SWITCH BY FOLLOWING THE INSTRUCTIONS ON YOUR VIDEO. BURNER HEATS UP NORMALLY, BUT I DON'T KNOW YET IF IT WILL SUDDENLY GO TO THE HIGH SETTING. IT WAS A SPORADIC PROBLEM I WAS HAVING...SO I'M HOPING THIS SOLVES THE ISSUE. FINGERS ARE CROSSED....BUT IN EITHER CASE....I NEEDED A NEW BURNER. REPAIR WAS SIMPLE....THE INSTRUCTIONAL VIDEO WAS VERY EASY TO FOLLOW. Read more

This heating element kit generates the heat needed to dry clothes in an electric dryer. The coiled resistance wire is housed in a metal frame and heats the air as it passes through the dryer drum. Replace this kit if the dryer runs but produces no heat, takes excessively long to dry clothes, or if the element coil is visibly broken.
