When I looked up the part number there was a handy video that popped up. I watched the video and thought "how easy!" so, I ordered that part and waited. The next day, I thought I better start to take the door off of my dryer (because that's what the video instructed, and I wanted a head start) so as I was going into the garage to get my tools, my son came in with a small package. Then, called and customer service sent me a service Manual but this still was not specific so I broke the old to get it out and in the process figured out how to do it correctly. So I installed the last bit of it which was the bezel through the machine top by myself correctly. I chatted with a rep on Appliance Parts Pros and found out which parts I needed for my model of dryer. Ordered the 2 clips that held the door closed. They arrived the next day!! My dryer was very different than the video but we were able to figure out which screws to remove. The old clips popped out and the new ones popped in. Took about 30 minutes because of there being a top and bottom clip to remove and replace and line up the door parts to screw the screws back in. It works great!! I... Read more

We have had this dryer since we bought the house 10 years ago and the thought of buying something new, that wasn't made as well was a dreaded thought. I knew the door latch was suppose to lock for self clean and it wasn't, so I took the back off and after tracing out wires and the linkage to the door latch, determined that it was a faulty motor on the latch lock. Using a punch and a big hammer I forced the lock through the housing, replaced the old lock with the new one and was done!!!! Really easy!!! Read more

I purchased a freezer gasket + key// from appliancepartspros.com //easy to order. I did not need to lock up my freezer but thought it might help the gasket seat (good thought). WITH A VOLT/METER CHECK OUT FRONT DOOR SWITCH (GOOD), CHECK OUT MICRO SWIITCHES ON REAR REAR LATCH ASSEMBLY (GOOD). CHECK VOLTAGE ON SOLENOID AFTER SELF CLEANING WAS TURNED ON WAS READING 120 VOLTS BUT SOLENOID/MOTER WOULD NOT ENGAGE. REPLACE IT WITH REAR LATCH ASSEMBLY. PROBLEM FIX Read more
