On-line chat with AppliancePartsPros told me the error code was was for motor speed and they sent me a .pdf file on what to do to T/S it. Following the sheet I checked motor and Tack resistance and wiring - all OK, so I ordered a Motor Controller Ckt board assy. It arrived in 24 hours, during that time i watched the replacement videos and removed the old part. Upon receiving the new part I installed it (15 min), tested the washer (it worked), then put all the panels back on, pushed the washer...

Motor died on washer Timothy P. • Los Angeles , CA • July 27, 2014
I took the easy fix first and replaced the Capacitor. That got me three loads before the motor burned out. I ordered the motor from AppliancePartsPros.com after a google search for "best price model # 134159500 Drive motor " The part arrived in 5 days, and it took about 15 minutes to remove the old motor and replace it with the new one. Simple and easy. four screws, four nuts, and two electrical connections. — The hardest step was one of the four mounting screws was way back inside and it took...

Frigidaire gltf2940fs2 front load washer e90 error code Wayne A. • Tewksbury , MA • August 01, 2016
After first doing a Google/YouTube search, There was only one "hit" on my search results. Next I went to an appliance message board forum but after almost a week and more than a dozen views, no response was received. This is unusual. I've been on this board before with positive results. They also changed the "rules" for DIYers which could explain why I didn't have a lot of response from the experts.
I attempted to get the unit into diagnostics mode. I was unable to clear the E90 "general...

Machine would only wash in every wash position on the dial but it would not drain or spin Delbert R. • Detroit , MI • September 02, 2014
Normally I would do a better job of investigating my problem with what others have experienced and then proceed with the cheapest fix first. This time though I just knew it was the timer. I ordered the correct part, installed it, plugged in the cord, turned on the washer and still no drain and no spin. What a defeated feeling. So I went back to the web site. Sure enough there was a simple fix to the problem. The washer door switch. But now, what do I do with this new timer? Back to the...

This coin chute guides coins from the slide into the coin mechanism so the machine can register payment and begin a cycle. Keeping the chute intact and aligned helps prevent jams and misfeeds in coin-operated laundry equipment.
- Directs coins from the slide to the coin mechanism to register payment
- Helps ensure smooth coin drop, reducing bounce-back and misfeeds
- Common fix when coins jam, fall into the cabinet, or the unit won't start after payment
- Replace if cracked, bent, corroded, or missing
Install notes:
- Disconnect power; shut off gas before service
- Open the coin housing/slide assembly and retain existing hardware
- Install the new chute in the same orientation; align with slide and mechanism, then secure
- Test with sample coins to ensure proper drop and operation before returning to service

The clothes washer wouldn't advance to the next phase of the selected cycle Glenn C. • Gainesville , FL • October 09, 2015
I replaced the timer...I talked with a tech to make sure the timer I ordered was the correct one. Watching the video was a great help especially with removing the knob. Plus the video showed a couple of tips. While not exactly the same timer it was very helpful. As a side note the timer arrived so fast I was shocked. A semi-difficult job made very easy.
