Checked and cleaned vent which was in need of cleaning, but not too bad (I do not consider this a primary causal detail, but can be a problem, so clean yours). Replaced Hi-Limit Thermostat (safety thermostat) after confirming the circuit was open with ohm meter. While I was in there, I completely cleaned the heater and ducting and internal workings of the dryer. I first ordered a thermostat and ignitor and replaced and that did not work. I asked Appliance Parts Pros their opinion in the chat and they said it was the coils in the gas valve but you had to replace the entire valve as the coils are not sold individually. So i ordered the part and also replaced the thermistor and drum belt while i had the dryer apart anyway! And this fixed the problem! Thank you to everyone who entered comments, especially about the "Clicking" sounds when it was trying to turn on the compressor. I did not notice them at first, but then heard them and was confident that one of these parts (or both) had a problem. In my case, I have custom cabinets around the sides of the refrigerator and hardwood floors in the kitchen so I put down some cardboard when the rollers would need to go at an angle due to a center island in the way. I determined my thermostat was defective, ordered the thermostat which arrived in two days and I replaced the thermostat and I now have a full bin of ice !!! Did some Google searches and most comments concerning this issue on LG stoves indicated the high temperature thermostat malfunctions when using the self cleaning function. This malfunction causes complete loss of power for the entire stove and locks the oven door. I ordered a new vario motor and a soap dispenser. I turned off the water and the breaker, disconnected the water line and the power at the front base of the unit, disconnected the drain hose from the garbage dispenser, and pulled out the dishwasher and laid it on a blanket on its face. First determined drain discharge hose was clear. Turned of power to dishwasher. I did not find it necessary to remove the dishwasher. I simply removed the lower service panel at the floor and was able to easily remove the defective pump, unplug it, replace the small rubber check valve flapper before the pump inlet and reinstall the new pump assembly. I replaced the filter cartridge that is located underneath the lower spray arm. The original filter cartridge had become completely blinded off, the filter media is a very fine mesh nylon fabric and it gets clogged up eventually with hard water scale and other non-soluble materials (including dishwasher detergent). The fan has a very thin wire in it's coil, and when that wire breaks, you need a new fan. In a previous repair, i noticed that an ice build-up had dislodged the wiring on my fan and severed the coil winding. I was able to undo the winding a couple of turns and get it working again. This filter just captured all the junk in the bottom of my LG dishwasher. There is no cleaning or servicing this thing. You need to replace it. There is NO NEED to pull out the dishwasher. All can be done through the door. Remove the racks. Remove the rotating arm on the bottom (2 screws under the arm). Replaced the cheap plastic lever supporter with another LG OEM cheap plastic lever supporter. I should have bought two as I can see this problem happening again. Job was a simple fix and only required a Phillips head screwdriver. I did not need to remove any connections as there was enough room and wire to pull out the oven control assembly and make the repair.
