First, DO NOT call Sears for parts, their call center knows nothing about the product. App-Pros are the best for help and the right parts. I figured to repair, replace all seals and any item that shows need to and all items that have to do with the spin that may be bad. Repair videos great help. I started with the suspension pad kit and the tub suspension pads. I do have to say if you have an older model washer (mine is approx 17 years old) be prepared to let the inner tub sit in penetrating oil for a few days before attempting to take the tub out. I was able to get to this point on my own and then it wouldn't budge. My husband ended up buying some direct drive tool (it was pretty cool) and was able to break the tub free after two days. Yay! I have used them for purchasing repair items for other appliances in the past, so when my washer started making weird noises this was my go to source. The LG Model LG Washer model WM2487HRMA ISSUE: Washing Machine was filling very slowly. Overnight it would fill about 1 or 2 gallons. I would clear the tub by pushing a) Power b) set spin to None c) push Start. That would empty the tub. REPAIR SOLUTION: That did not solve the problem. Second, I replaced both the single (1) Water inlet valve assembly Part Number:5220FR2006H and also the Water Level pressure switch Part Number:6601ER1006E That solved the problem. I had previously replaced the pump about 1 year ago. That was not the problem. Still leaked the same way - intermittently, but always in the center of the washer onto the floor. None of the hoses were leaking - no evidence of corrosion or water mineral residue at any of the hose fittings. So, it must have been something else. LG Washing Machine WM3885HCCA I searched the Appliance Parts Pros "Get Repair Help" tab, typed in the LG washing machine model number (WM3885HCCA), watched videos and searched for the parts shown on the diagrams of my LG washing machine. I removed the top cover and found the left main suspension spring broken. Appliance Part Pros had the new springs (2 I replaced both) at my door in 26 hours. Excellent service from this company. After disassembling the drum from the chassis of the machine, it was very easy to replace the springs. i do wish however that I had purchased a higher quality machine. LG refused to do anything to help and the machine is only 3 years old and gets minimal use. Hats off however to Appliance Parts Pros.... Read more

Not knowing for sure that the problem was the capacitor, I was reluctant to purchase and replace the part. I went AppliancePartPros.com web site and clicked on the part replacement video.The repair video was short and well illustrated. Before the repair began, the service rep says, " the reason you would replace the capacitor is that after turning the timer on, the machine would just hum." Unscrewed console and tilted it back. Then removed clips for machine skin. Rocked it back slightly to access the tub side hose. Removed water inlet valve assembly and removed from the valve. Fished out the old hose. Fished in new hose. Reattched it then reassembled unit. Spent 15 min looking for clip I lost on NASTY FLOOR AAAAAARGH! When done I tested it then found the cold inlet hose screen was clogged. Went to store and replaced hoses and inlet screens too. Glanced over at other washer and... Read more

I watched a few on line videos. Found 2 easy things to check. The motor coupler then the clutch. It took me about 30 minutes to get everything apart and find out which problem it was. Went on line to Appliance Pros.com and ordered the new clutch.It came in 2 days. Took less than 30 minutes to get it on and get everything back together. It was awesome. Read more

REPLACING THE SUSPENSION PADS AND REPLACE THE BALNCE RING EVEN IF MY DIDN'T LEAK ANY FLUID OUT OF IT... IT SOLVE THE PROBLEM, IT WORKS BETTER NOW THAN IT EVER DID, THE ONLY THING I COULD COME WITH IS THE MANUFACTURE PUT THE WRONG BALANCE RING IN IT TO START WITH...
