I replaced drum rollers, axle shafts and front bearing kit. Still had noise. Ordered Idler Arm, Belt Tension Pulley & Washers. I ordered parts at 3:30 pm on a Wednesday, received new parts at 11:30 am Thursday. The instructions & videos were very simple to follow and provided excellent tips. One day my wife went to bake something and the bake/broil buttons as well as #3, #9, and oven light ceased to work. Local repair guy came by and wanted to charge $500 to fix it....YEAH RIGHT! First replaced the drum rollers...that wasn't it..took dryer back apart and spun the belt tension wheel by hand (should have done this the first time I took the dryer apart) and it squeaked. so I ordered the full parts: wheel, idler arm, idler spring, arm sleeve, E ring..Put it back together and whoa..no more squealing!! I figured there could only be a couple reasons why the dryer would not heat so I did some research. I read where you could test for continuity on the parts to determine which one was bad. A friend referred me to this site, I looked up the part for my particular model, ordered and replaced the part. It could not have been any easier. Put both thermostats in as I did not know if the unit was cycling on high limit at times. Fixed both issues plus I used my lawn blower and blew all the lint out of dryer and short 3' hose. I also lubed rear drum bearings. Works like new. Ron R Read more

Cleaned exhaust duct, but only from the dryer/laundry room side. Replaced thermal fuse. Unit worked for about two loads and thermal fuse blew again. This time I cleaned the exhaust vent on the roof of my 2-story house. It was found to be partially obstructed and I was able to remove a significant amount of lint from it. Replaced valve had some trouble removing the fitting from the valve as the new fitting was slightly too large and had to be replaced with the fitting from the old valve. Used a large crescent wrench to grip the valve at the base and I was able to apply enough force to remove both fittings transferring old fitting to new valve. The instructions were detailed and excellent. The dryer is up and running fine. Read more

First I told the representative my problem & I ordered a new timer at their suggestion but that did not make a difference. Same problem persisted so I sent the timer back for a refund after speaking with another Appliance Parts Pro & ordered a Dryer Gas Valve Coil Kit at his suggestion.
