Plastic grommet that cushions the hinge pin on refrigerator doors. Replace if cracked, worn, missing, or causing door alignment issues.
After discovering that our leaking fridge was caused by a plastic water storage tank I went on the hunt to find a replacement. Sadly there is no replacement available instead you have to purchase the entire filter tank assembly. Since I only needed the tank I carefully took apart the new unit and removed the tank. The biggest hassle is making sure you go slow so you can remove the front of the housing. Then the right side of covers the tank, pump and lines. The lines are the easiest to... Read more
Replacement axle pin that secures roller wheels to the refrigerator base. Needed when original pin is damaged, corroded, or broken during wheel replacement.
Samsung does not make it easy to replace the casters. The shafts holding the casters are crimped at the ends and had to be cut off with little room for any tools. I had to jack up the fridge and I used a hacksaw blade with a handle to cut through the wheel shafts. I didn't want to use a reciprocating saw. I couldn't find a way to crimp the new shafts so I drilled small holes at the ends and used cotter pins to retain the shafts in place. The rear caster had no room to slide the new one in... Read more
Freezer icing up or water leaking into crispers? This defrost heater melts frost from evaporator coils. Moderate DIY repair with video guide included.
Ordered parts, defrosted refrigerator, and replaced with new items. This problem has been going on quite some time, while Samsung refused to acknowledge the defective unit, claiming it was owner fault. The defrosting had to be completed every 3-4 months and managed in time to require defrosting every few days. Originally a repairman came and although he defrosted it the first time, he informed us, this is quite common and the unit is defective by design; which is why we continued to defrost on... Read more
Front caster wheel for refrigerators. Installs at the base to allow smooth rolling and repositioning. Replace if wheel is cracked, broken, or won't roll.
Used the video with the parts and replaced the wheels. The only thing we did wrong was using the front wheel axle instead of the back wheel axle on the back wheels. I will just order two more front wheel axles which are longer than the back axle. Thank you for the video, it made this repair easier. Read more
Plastic end cap that covers the freezer door handle on bottom-mount refrigerators. Replace when cracked, broken, or missing for a complete look.
The Samsung french door freezer has a handle that has plastic pivot plates that help "push" the door open during its first inch or so of travel. One morning, the handle pulled off taking portions of both pivot plates with it! The parts from AppliancePros arrived very quickly, and the repair required re-positioning the mounting holes, even thought the replacement parts looked identical to what was left of the pivot plates. Okay, that‘s not AppliancePros fault in any way whatsoever; this happens... Read more

Plastic frame and glass cover assembly that sits above crisper drawers. Replace if cracked, broken, or missing to properly support produce bins.
At first, I contacted the number listed in the manual to order the part, the customer service person was no help after 30 minutes of trying to explain what part I needed I think she got it, but then told me it would take 5-10 business days to get it, and they could not ship any faster. So, I cancelled the order and while I was on hold for her I searched the internet and was able to find your website called you had a diagram of the part I needed and it was shipped out the same day and I got it... Spring component that provides tension for the freezer door handle mechanism. Replace if spring is broken, missing, or no longer holding proper tension.
I looked at the blow up drawing to figure out what parts I might need. I then watched a you tube video to see how to take the handle off. I kind of figured out on my own how to remove the ruined cap handle. It took me a few minutes to figure it out and more time to remove both the handle and the broken part. Turns out I did not need the spring nor the shaft cap handle. Very proud of myself. Saved a huge amount of money. Only problem was that I could only put in one screw as the previous... Read more

In order it SHOULD be done: Pried off two white caps covering the screws that attach the flap to the left door, then removed screws. Lifted flap up to remove from door and disconnected cable. Used a thin blade to pry out the inner cover of the flap, then carefully pried out the insulation piece inside. Loosened the screw holding the center cap from the inside and removed cap. Worked the cable out of the hinge piece so it could be removed and cable pulled through case. Pried upper and lower caps... Read more

Repair required removing all of the interior drawers & shelves and the interior back panel. There you will find the defrost heater. Behind the defrost heater is a metal plate as well as one on the back of the front interior cover. Both were corroded and in need of replacement.
