Replaces worn, cracked, or unresponsive oven control panel touch pad. Installs on the front control display where buttons are pressed to operate functions.
I read about the particular error code on blogs online. Most people agreed that it was the keypad membrane that was not working. I have never done any repairs on an appliance, but YouTube had great videos of someone changing out that particular part. I could have ordered the part for less through an appliance supply store locally, but they did not offer any return option on electronics. I ordered through Appliance Parts Pros and they were very prompt in their delivery. I am thrilled to say... Read more

Dishwasher won't start, stops mid-cycle, or won't advance? Replace the main control board to restore proper cycle operation. Moderate DIY repair.
Turn off power to machine, Take off door panel - 12 screws. hold up door panel a bit and make sure to remove the ribbon from the touch pad to the control module (use some pliers to rock it out of the board). Since I was changing the Module, I just removed the 1 screw that held it in place and it gave me some more room to get my hands in there and remove all the wiring freeing up the board to remove the touch pad ribbon last (I didn't want to tear it because I was not replacing it and after 9... Replaces cracked, shattered, or stained oven door glass. Restores clear viewing and proper heat sealing. Available as inner or outer pane replacement.
I ordered a replacement glass from Appliance Part Pros on Friday evening and it was delivered on Monday morning. It was packed well and I appreciated the quick delivery. I watched the Appliance Part Pros video and it was not helpful because it was for a different door but it did have some useful advice. I checked for a few other hints on the internet and then went to work. The door on my oven had to be removed by opening it to the first stop, about four inches, after removing two locking... Fix a refrigerator that won't cool, cycles on and off quickly, or has a non-working ice maker with this electronic control board. Manages temps and defrost.
I don’t think I needed the capacitor and relay, but while I was at it I figured I would. Originally we found we had an issue when water cane out of the ice maker. The freezer was hovering around freezing and the refrigerator was about 33 deg. I unplugged the refrigerator and it came back on and ran about a day. The next night, same thing. This time cycling power did not seem to help. Removing the rear cover where the control board was and moving it around allowed it to turn on next time I... Read more
If your washer won't advance cycles, runs continuously, or only works on delicate, the timer may have failed. DIY-friendly repair in 15-20 minutes.
The basin would fill but would not agitate, there was no sound, no grinding noises, no sound of a motor running without agitation due to a broken belt. The basin full of water was able to drain if I advanced the timer to Spin. By playing around with the timer dial further, I could get every function of the washer to operate, at least partially. So, that said electrical problem to me. I assumed the trouble was either the safety switch at the back of the lid or the timer mechanism. Tested... Read more
