Turn off power to machine, Take off door panel - 12 screws. hold up door panel a bit and make sure to remove the ribbon from the touch pad to the control module (use some pliers to rock it out of the board). Took out old timer, and upon inspection notice some electrical arcing( burned areas). I installed new timer and worked perfectly. Problem was that it would fill up with water, but after it was filled the timer kept going but washer was not agitating. Only thing that worked was delicates wash. I looked online for possible repair solutions when the range would not turn off. I found that the membrane switch goes bad on these models. The freezer would cool down to 0 degrees after being plugged in but once it hit zero the freezer failed to keep it there, it would warm back to room temp. I ordered the cold control knob and it came very quickly! It did come with directions but failed to address what terminal you plug the black and yellow wires into. Oven is a slide in. I pulled it out just a Few inches and removed 8 screws and Pulled the face down to expose the unit. The control unit had 4 screws and 4 Plugins. It only took me less than 10 Minutes to replace unit and slide back In place. Read more

I don’t think I needed the capacitor and relay, but while I was at it I figured I would. Originally we found we had an issue when water cane out of the ice maker. The basin would fill but would not agitate, there was no sound, no grinding noises, no sound of a motor running without agitation due to a broken belt. The basin full of water was able to drain if I advanced the timer to Spin. By playing around with the timer dial further, I could get every function of the washer to operate, at least partially.
