I changed the control board (00498022) in the door of my Thermador dishwasher. Thermador, Bosch, and Siemens all use the same board for the indoor controls and display. This required a #15-star head driver to remove the screws. I used an impact wrench (set to a low torq setting) to speed things up. There are approximately 12 screws to remove. Two are long. Dishwasher died after 1 year and two weeks after purchase! The Bosch tech arrived and recommended replacing the drain pump (as well as cleaning the filter in vinegar). Ordered pump from APPros and it arrived THE NEXT DAY! Took out old one.... installed new one... and it worked! The new pump fit perfectly. Read more

• Will not dispense detergent

Process was a bit more complicated than the videos I had watched online. Had to remove both front panel and control panel to get to soap dispenser. Removed wires to soap dispenser and rinse aide dispenser. Removed wire "harness" around the top and right side of dispenser. Pried back the clips to allow dispenser to be pushed out. It was helpful to have another person to hold the door open at this point. Bent clips back and reinstalled everything. New part works great. Read more

Bought new wheel and the are easy to replace. Found why the brok and did a quick fix so it wont happen again. As the wheels age one will pull off then they all get weak and the rack will come off the track, To prevent this. you can put a plastic tie so the wheels cant fall off in the first place, The disign holds them in place with pressure from the plastic but the plastic ages and gets weak. A tie would have to actually break before the wheel can fall off. Read more

I looked carefully at why this one row of tines might be wobbly and saw that the row of tines next to it was secured by these little plastic pieces that just seemed to snap on. The symptom was suds and water on the floor at the left front of the dishwasher within the first five minutes of operation. Examination of the seal inside the door showed it was warped and pushed up into the door out of place. Once disassembled we found a tear in the seal, severe warping, and the material was sticky and slimy rather than flexible. I found a video of the disassembly that was very helpful. It finally gave E15 code, then after drying out the E15 code came back within 5 minutes of running. I dried out the base then I ran the dishwasher and observed water coming down the overflow chute after running only 5 minutes.There is a water inlet (clear water chamber on the side of the machine). This was a dishwasher swap out. I first turned the water off to the inlet hose of the dishwasher from underneath the sink. Removed the inlet water hose from sink to dishwasher. (use wrench or adjustable wrench) Then removed the screws securing old dishwasher from the cabinetry. I then pulled out the dishwasher from the cabinetry hole it was in. On my Bosch she55m15uc/64, the cycle would take 3-4 hours, with the machine stuck on "1 minute" for a long time. The interior was getting moldy and smelly, and the dishes had a white film. I looked at the video on their website, followed the instructions step by step and did it myself. They estimated 45 minutes.
