The first part I ordered was cheaper but did not include the handle. Cents I had plugged it in I figured I couldn't return the part. So I ordered the correct part and it was a piece of cake to install. The one thing I didn't understand was why they sold that part why out the handle? After looking very close I could have never put the handle on the latch assembly, and I have a lot of experience at things like this! Read more

Normally when you let go of the dishwasher door partly open it would stay in that position. But lately when you let go of the door it would fall to the fully open position. Turns out this little cable was broken one one side. Just puss the dishwasher slightly out of the cabinet and you can replace the cable in minutes. It is just held in place with a spring. Read more

Dishes were 'gritty' with an almost invisible coating of specks smaller than grains of salt. Prior to ordering parts, I had to determine which part(s) needed replaced and which could benefit from a good cleaning. Motor shaft was stripped, replaced with new shaft from Motor Seal Kit. Impeller was also cracked, so replaced it as well. I did run in to a small problem, the chopper blade was pressing against the metal grate on the piece that goes back over the motor seal. I spent about an hour messing with it, but thought maybe once it's all together it'll be fine. When you screw the impeller on, it pushes down the seals, which pushes down the chopper blade. Number one was turn the power to the dishwasher off. I disconnected the hoses under the sink. The dishwasher had to be pulled out from the cabinet. The old heating element easily came out and the new one put in its place. The instructional video made the repair very easy. Read more

Fortunately everything snapped on except one part. I've reordered the right part. BTW Appliance Parts Pros is absolutely the best place to source parts. Most places just don't seem to stock anything. I've never had a problem with this company. In fact, the parts are usually at our door in 2-3 days. Never ever thought I'd enjoy ordering appliance parts. A couple of missing wheels on the lower tray and broken pivots and latches had made our dishwasher inconvenient to use. I had replaced those parts earlier using this website. A tine row pivot broke recently. As you'd expect, it's easy to snap in a new one. Dishwasher is old enough that some parts are prone to breaking. The extra parts are spares. Read more

Open the dishwasher door and remove the 2 screws on each side of the door frame. Pull out dishwasher from under counter just enough to replace the spring. Push dishwasher back in place and reinstall the four screws. Read more

I ordered a new rubber door seal for around door, new bottom door seal and spinner impeller and nut to hold on bottom arm as it looked weak. Everything worked great except bottom door seal which looks slightly different and would NOT stay on. I ended up putting back on the old one. Door doesnt leak but not sure it would even be worth it sending part back as I already tossed bag out. Other parts worked great and DW cleaning better. Read more

Replaced control board with OEM part from ApplianceParts Pro - fit exactly and remedied the problems. Simple to replace - turn off power (circuit breaker), remove internal door panel, remove control board cover and unplug wires/LED leads (the LED lead connectors on the board have a square tension slip ring around them that hold the leads - just pull these up away from board and they will release the leads) and then remove the controller board housing. Watched a video on how to replace the switch. Took ten minutes total time. Hardest part was removing the wiring from the broken switch. Fit perfectly, and very happy . Read more
