Dishwasher not filling with water or fills slowly? The water inlet valve controls water flow into your dishwasher. Simple DIY repair, 30-60 minutes.
Pulled out the unit, found the inlet valve was leaking. Went on AppliancePartsPros.com and ordered a new valve. That was Saturday evening. Tuesday I got my part and installed it. Thanks for the fast delivery. Read more
Seals the dishwasher door to prevent water leaks during operation. Replace if worn, torn, or loose to restore watertight performance. Confirm fit.
Not the first time my 10 year old dishwasher developed a leak. I have learned that the tub gasket gets dirty and the gasket spring gets weak. Cleaning and if needed replacing that solves the problem. In cleaning the tub gasket this time I notice the bottom door seal had separated from the door. It was originally riveted on. This seal is part of the door assembly and not available as a separate part. You need to buy inner door to get a new seal. Not worth it on a 10 year old appliance. BUT,... Read more
Roller axle stud that clips onto the lower dishrack to secure wheels. Replace when broken, cracked, or missing to restore smooth rack gliding motion.
I ordered replacement rollers and studs for my Ge Profile Dishwasher yesterday at 7:57am. I received the same today around 6pm! Snapped them into place in 5 minutes….They fit beautifully! I am truly amazed at not only how easy and thorough your website is but how lightening fast delivery is! I do a lot of on-line ordering and you all are the first to be so efficient and fast. My only question is …."How do you do it?!" Thank you for having excellence in what you do! Read more
Replacement silverware basket for dishwashers. Holds utensils and flatware securely during wash cycles. Needed when original basket is cracked or broken.
Our GE was installed about 8 years ago and was AWESOME for much of its early life. However, progressively its cleaning ability diminished. By replacing all the spray arms (clogged with debris), filters, drain hose, and sump...this dishwasher cleans like it did when it was new! Cost was around $100 (also replaced a wheel and the silverware basket) and labor was relatively simple. And to think...my mother-in-law said, "Wouldn't it just be easier to buy a new one?!?". Complete lower rack assembly for dishwashers. Replace your cracked, rusted, or broken lower rack. Includes wheels, tines, and mounting hardware pre-installed.
Purchased replacement rack with wheels that were better equipped. This rack is way better than the original that was falling apart. The wheels came off and the prongs broke. This replacement part seems to be constructed well. Read more
Dishwasher leaking from bottom or not draining? The sump assembly collects and recirculates water. Moderately easy DIY repair from underneath.
Ordered Impeller and Shaft Seal Kit which came overnight. Easy to put in after watching the video. While installing I found that Inlet Sump was ripped and ordered the part which came overnight. Trickier to install but thought it went well. Even though Shaft Seal probably was not the problem it did need replacing. Got it put back together and water would come into the dishwasher but it would not start and pump the water to wash. Called Tech Support and got some answers but did not have time to... Read more
The Hinge Arm Link is an OEM part for GE dishwashers. This component functions as a connection point between the dishwasher door and the hinge mechanism, allowing the door to open and close smoothly. The hinge arm link ensures that the door can bear the weight of itself, often laden with a mounted dish rack when fully loaded, without straining the hinges or misaligning.
Causes of damage to the hinge arm link often involve regular wear and tear from the constant motion of opening and closing the dishwasher door.
Symptoms of a bad Hinge Arm Link include:
This OEM GE part is also compatible with Hotpoint, RCA, and some Kenmore models.
I watched the repair video and ordered the part ( I luckily ordered two links). The video was not exactly for my model dishwasher but I did follow the instruction for removal from the cabinet. Since my model was not shown, I was looking to see how the door spring and the Hinge Arm Link was supposed to be set up. I had the impression that the door spring and link was only on the right side of the dishwasher. I finally figured it out and took pictures of the set-up for the next time the link... Read more
Detergent door won't stay closed or latch broken? This dishwasher dispenser releases soap and rinse aid during cycles. DIY repair in 20-30 minutes.
Bought the replacement dispenser from APPros.com (of course). The video shows a front control panel, and our dishwasher has the 'hidden' control panel on the top of the door. So here's the difference: 1) You need to take out all the screws, except the two near the latch at the top. The other video shows only taking out the bottom six screws because the remainder of the screws hold the front control panel. I used a couple paint cans with rags on top to hold the corners of the door when... Read more

Connects dishwasher door to spring mechanism for balanced opening and closing. Replace if broken, frayed, or plastic clip end has sheared off.
Disconnected dishwasher and moved it out from under the counter. Found that the left side door spring cable was not connected to the spring. The plastic end of the cable was broken off. It was a simple fix with the new part, however, why would any manufacture us a plastic part on an important part of a steel cable? Read more
Traps food particles during wash cycles to prevent recirculation and ensure spotless dishes. Replace if clogged or damaged. Confirm fit with your model.
My daughter and I went to Youtube and found an extremely well presented video on how to clean our exact make and model of dishwasher. We live in a newly rented house, new to us, not new. The dishwasher was an unholy nightmare of filth, clogged filters, calcium deposits coating and blocking in literal heaps, discovered when taken apart. The miracle really was that the dishwasher cleaned at all. We cleaned and scraped everything thoroughly, the fine filter and the sump filter as well but decided... Read more
Dishes coming out dirty or spotty? A clogged sump filter lets food particles recirculate. This filter traps debris for cleaner dishes. DIY install.
Dishwasher leaking from underneath? A cracked pump connector causes water pooling. Requires dishwasher removal; typically 1-hour repair once accessed.
The main conduit was broken and the pump connector had a hole in it. The pump also was showing signs of leaking. I completely disassembled the dishwasher cleaned everything and reassembled. The repair videos are a big help. Thank you. Read more
Fill funnel directs water into the tub and allows air to escape during drying. Replace if leaking at inlet or water doesn't fill properly. Verify fit.
A rat had chewed up rubber and plastic parts on my 2 year old GE dishwasher. The parts representative Mary was very helpful and even emailed me pdf's so that we could verify the right parts. I am 70 years young and was one of those former "lonely" Maytag repairmen. :). Having someone take the time to take care of my needs professionally is a big deal. Will call back when I need more parts. Charles C Read more
