This OEM choke rod replacement is designed for use with select trimmer/edger models. The choke rod is installed on the unit to provide the user with access to the choke, allowing them to control the speed and fuel flow to the engine. The choke controls the engine speed and performance by restricting the flow of air to the carburetor to improve the air-fuel mixture for better performance in lower temperatures. Over time, the choke rod can become worn or it may be damaged due to impact. In either situation, a proper replacement with a part like this is necessary. This choke rod is manufactured by Echo and designed to work with a number of models from this brand and Little Wonder. There are dozens of compatible units that can take this part. The choke rod consists of the metal rod and the plastic handle and is a fairly easy part to replace. Be sure to disengage the spark plug and disconnect any power to the engine before replacing the choke rod or other engine components. This is sold as a single unit and does not include any hardware or additional parts.

This is a flexible drive shaft that is used in many string trimmers for yard and garden work. The flexible drive shaft is located inside of the drive shaft housing and is used to ensure the cutting head spins when the user wants it to. This flexible drive shaft is made out of black metal. If the flexible drive shaft is damaged or broken, it can cause a shuddering feeling when the engine accelerates, cause unusual noises, and result in intense vibrating when using the string trimmer.If the flexible drive shaft is faulty, it will need to be replaced. The tools required include a pair of pliers and a screwdriver. First, loosen the shaft screws and remove the air filter. Take out the throttle cable and remove the ignition wires. Take the shaft housing off of the string trimmer to reach and remove the drive shaft. The new drive shaft should be lubricated before installation.This flexible drive shaft is sold as an individual component.
