Genuine Echo part

Part Number: V471001220
This is a genuine vent pipe replacement used in certain models of outdoor lawn and garden equipment engines. The vent pipe is attached to the fuel grommet and the clip, and is responsible for helping vent the fuel as it travels to and from the engine. The pipe is made of durable plastic but it can become damaged or worn over time. In some cases, the seals might become faulty or there may be other issues that require a replacement. If left unattended, the unit may fail to work properly. This genuine OEM vent pipe is manufactured by Echo and designed to be used in select units from the brand, including blowers, vacuums, chainsaws, and some trimmers. The pipe is sold as an individual part and does not include any additional parts or hardware. Drain the equipment of fuel before performing this repair. Always wear gloves when doing engine work and make sure that the engine is completely cool. Work in a well-ventilated area for safety, as well. The vent pipe can be replaced on its own or as part of a fuel system overhaul.

Genuine Tecumseh part
By: Tecumseh
Part Number: 631807
A fuel inlet is a connector that allows gasoline from the fuel line of an engine to pass through it into the carburetor. Once in the carburetor, the fuel mixes with air and passes into the cylinder, where it ignites to create power for the engine. Thus, the fuel inlet is attached on the one side the carburetor and to the fuel pipe, or line, on the other. This inlet is used in power tools such as lawn mowers, snowblowers, edgers, pressure washers, chippers, and generators. Periodically, since it is made partially of plastic, the fuel inlet will weather and crack so that it is no longer fuel tight. The main sign to watch out for with fuel inlets is gasoline leakage. This is always a dangerous situation. The user may have to remove the carburetor housing cover to determine whether the leak comes from the fuel line or the inlet valve. It is a good idea to replace each of these pieces at the same time. When choosing a replacement part for the fuel inlet, always use a genuine OEM replacement part like this one. This inlet is compatible with power tools made by Tecumseh, Briggs & Stratton, Toro, MTD, Lawn-Boy, and Cub Cadet.
