Bought replacement relay board, replaced it. Would not work, turned stove circuit breaker off then on again. Display panel showed stove was resetting waited for reset, tested the bake option twice to ascertain it was working correctly. It worked! We replaced both front orifice holders. Very easy to bend and break. If it has a deep bend in it, It will slow down the gas flow to the burner. if you have a low gas flow your burner will burn low So check your small silver gas lines and if you smell gas check your lines Read more

The problem is a finicky ignition system, Direct Spark Ignition. Apparently Whirlpool redesigned the igniter/burner assembly slightly to make it more reliable. The repair is very easy. Turn off power, but you don't need to turn off gas. Remove oven bottom and flame spreader, then remove burner/igniter assembly, one screw at front, one at back. The plastic piece on the handle where the screw goes in to hold glass door up had broke. I ordered new handle, the retainer pieces that go over the plastic pieces to lock it all in and screws that were suggested. The screws were the wrong ones. They were way too small. I already had one screw and thankfully only had to buy 1 new one because the screw was $40 and shipping’s $10 for it AND it’s on back order right now. I first DISCONNECTED POWER FROM THE RANGE using the breaker. I then pulled the range out from the wall to give myself plenty of working room. I lifted the range top up as when you clean under the burners. I then moved the ends of the bottom of the slide rods that lock the range top open back where they came loose from the top of the range. It was a simple process to enter the model number of our glass cook top stove; learn the part number required and order. It arrived in 2-days -- least expensive shipping method. The cooktop was removed with a Phillips-head screwdriver by 4 small sheet metal screws on the right and left side of the oven. The oven's power to the cooktop was easily disconnected via two "clips" and one ground. Would have cost way more with an appliance repair shop and it's an easy do-it-yourself repair. Read more
