Replaced the burner Infinite switches for the burners having the issue. Here are the latest part numbers for this model Maytag. Left rear (LR) and right rear (RR) burners are both 6" and use the same switch. Part # WP3149404. Left front (LF) is an 11 1/2" burner Part# W10167742. It was relatively easy to replace it. Some suggestions: 1. Make a platform to support the oven when you slide it out of the cabinet. Make the platform sturdy because this thing is heavy. Make the platform the same height as the cabinet so that you can just slide it out and back in without having to lift it. 2. Turned off breaker to oven, took pictures of existing broil, supporting bracket and shield attached to oven, removed screws holding element, support piece and shield, removed bracket and shield, pulled out the element, took another close-up picture of the wires connected to element, removed wires, connected new element, turned breaker on to see if connection is correct, turned it off, installed element, shield and support bracket (in this order). It was a simple process to enter the model number of our glass cook top stove; learn the part number required and order. It arrived in 2-days -- least expensive shipping method. The cooktop was removed with a Phillips-head screwdriver by 4 small sheet metal screws on the right and left side of the oven. The oven's power to the cooktop was easily disconnected via two "clips" and one ground. Would have cost way more with an appliance repair shop and it's an easy do-it-yourself repair. Read more

I wanted to get the upper oven baking element replaced; it hasn't been working for a few months. This double oven has had two other issues, there is a fan that comes on to cool the electronics panel, That fan has made excessive noise and it operates for 2-3 hours after the oven turns off. I knew for sure that the hinge with the large spring was damaged, but elected to replace both hinges and receivers. Replacing the parts was fairly easy and would have taken me less then an hour. This model has thin metal covers over the hinge assemblies. I found that squeezing in the sides of the covers help to hold them in place on the hinge while reassembling the door.
