Microwave won't start or runs only when door is pulled? Replace faulty door interlock switches. This 2-pack covers top and bottom switches. DIY repair.
First, it was going to cost $95 for an appliance guy just to look at it! I figured there would be an upcharge on the parts + labor on top of the $95, so I took a chance & decided my husband & I could fix it cheaper; we were right, but it was a 3 week process (luckily, we have another microwave in the basement we were able to use in the meantime). I googled the microwave model #, then price checked the same item I thought we needed; printed off the diagrams of the various microwave "systems" &... Read more
Replace your broken, cracked, or missing gas cooktop burner control knob. Fits securely onto the burner valve stem for heat level adjustment and control.
My stove is probably 15 years old and when I was removing the screws that hold the burner in place on top of the stove top, both of them broke off so I had to replace the entire assembly. APP had all the parts I needed and were helpful on the phone. However when I was attempting to loosen the gas line to the burner the tubing wouldn't release from the brass nut and the tubing twisted too much. Even though it didn't appear broken I wasn't comfortable knowing the metal was surely weakened so I... Read more

Microwave won't turn on or has no power? A blown fuse is often the cause. This safety component protects against electrical surges and short circuits.
I have a Jenn-Air microwave that didn't turn on and had no lights. It just stopped working completely. I unplugged the unit and had to remove the rear cover using a *security screw kit* that prevents people from opening the rear panel. Once opened, I removed the fuse and testing it with an OHM reader to determine that the fuse went bad. But I also had to determine why the fuse blew and noticed a sticky oily substance under the Capacitor. I used a rubber glove and needle nose pliers to... Read more

Burner not heating or heating unevenly? This dual radiant surface element restores consistent heat to both rings. DIY-friendly, installs in 15 minutes.
It was a simple process to enter the model number of our glass cook top stove; learn the part number required and order. It arrived in 2-days -- least expensive shipping method. The cooktop was removed with a Phillips-head screwdriver by 4 small sheet metal screws on the right and left side of the oven. The oven's power to the cooktop was easily disconnected via two "clips" and one ground. Would have cost way more with an appliance repair shop and it's an easy do-it-yourself repair. Read more

Converts your range oven from natural gas to LP propane fuel. Includes all orifices and components needed for bake and broil burners. Essential when switching fuel types or moving appliance to propane supply.
I purchased a burner and a oven orifice replacement kit from Appliance Parts Pros. I downloaded an installation manual from Whirlpool and followed the instructions. It was pretty easy. The front burner orifices could be replaced by just taking off the burner cover. The back ones required removing the burner diffuser. You will need to reattach the back burner bottom assembies after you remove the diffuser before you unscrew the orifice or it might bend the burner piping causing it to not line up... Read more
Set of five LP orifices for converting gas ranges to liquid propane. Replaces worn or missing orifices during fuel conversion. Essential hardware kit.
Changing out the stovetop orifices from natural gas to propane- First thing, turn off the gas. On this model stove, there are five burners-two burners in the front, two in the back and one in the middle. The front two burners are different than the other three, they are the largest burners. You can use a 11/32 socket with an extension to go down the middle hole of the burner and screw-out the natural gas orifices. Taking the orifices out was easy. Putting the new orifices in is a different... Read more
