This is a set of push buttons that mount on the dishwasher control panel, allowing you to select wash cycles and options. Removed 10 Star Screws to get the door cover off and the fascia panel snapped off. Inserted the 6 buttons and the door handle into the facia panel prior to snapping it in place. Screwed the door cover back in place and the job was done. The facia has two tabs that need to be inserted into the door. Be careful not to crack them as they seem fragile. This valve magnet is the solenoid actuator used to open and close a dishwasher water/control valve, restoring proper water flow for filling and cycle operation. It replaces a failed or weak magnet to help the valve respond correctly. What it does:
The repair is easy. Two screws in the back hold the top cover - once they are off you need to slide the cover back and it comes off. The valve is right there where the cold water hose is connected.
