Removed old rollers and axels and installed new ones. Used needle nosed pliers to remove old axles and rollers and put new ones on by hand, just snapped them onto the rack frame and pushed new wheels onto the new axles. Discovered that the end caps of the metal guide that the rollers move in just rotate out on a hinge principle in order to remove the rack in order to put the new rollers on. Read more

Using instructions I obtained over the internet, I first removed the DW's bottom cover panels so I could look inside the DW (with a flashlight) while it was running. The repair is easy. Two screws in the back hold the top cover - once they are off you need to slide the cover back and it comes off. The valve is right there where the cold water hose is connected. Disconnect the control wires / clamp and slide back the wire clamps / remove the two rubber hosed / remove the old valve (it is snapped in place - look at the new one to understand the snap mechanism) / install the new valve. WE replaced the drain pump and it still wouldn't drain sometimes. Finally we realized that the drain hose wasn't the correct bosch hose and the rubber was starting to bend and kink where it went through the hole to under the sink.So we bought the drain hose and replaced. Read more

Took door off, saw that dispenser linkage was ok, I could open and close by hand, so figured the wax motor or the wiring to it were most likely the problem. I took off the wax motor ( actuator) and ran 120 volts to it via jumper wires, and it did not move at all, so figured good chance that was the problem.
