The Belt Pulley is an OEM part for GE dryers. It is the component responsible for transferring power from the motor to the drum through a belt drive system. The pulley works with the belt to turn the drum and tumble clothes during the drying cycle.
Located inside the dryer cabinet, the pulley has a precision bearing and pulley surface designed to withstand years of continuous operation. It smoothly transfers rotational force from the motor while allowing for belt slackening and tightening as needed during different parts of the cycle.
Symptoms of a bad pulley include:

I replaced the belt, belt tension pulley, both dryer drum roller axles and both drum support rollers. Although I bought 2 tumbler bearing kits, because those still look good I am saving them for when they go bad. The videos were fantastic! I also took pictures as I went of wiring so there would be no question where things went when reassembling. It should be noted some models have extra terminals near the sensor terminals... just be aware and look closely/take pics as you are taking things...

The cylinder roller that supports the dryer drum was worn and needed to be replaced. I ordered the idler pulley shaft and associated parts as well since I wasn't sure if these were worn too.
Watching the video on the web site gave me a good idea what was involved and where to look. It wasn't my exact model and make but provided sufficient information on what to look for. The parts were exact fits which was a great relief abd the dryer is running like new again!
