I removed the back panel of the dishwasher exposing the caster and the lock ring. I removed the lock ring, removed the old caster and installed the new caster and replaced the lock ring. then I re-installed the back panel and wa-la it was done. 10 minutes total. too bad it took me a week on line and on the phone to find out it had a lock ring.
