Physical appearance by replacing burner caps and burner grate. My wife is a cleaning machine. Only probelm is the grates and caps get slight burn marks on them that are hard to clean. I may try your ceramic cleaner to see if that works better than elbow grease. Read more

I decided to replace my igniters because I suspected that they were shorted. Due to my recklessness, I was too hard in taking them off and broke a couple. But with Appliance Pro's recommendations, I moved on to treplacing the switch harness assembly. I have to say that the replacement of the switch harness assembly took no more than 30 seconds. Second repair after 10 years of service - igniter had cracked and spill overs were causing the others to misfire. This was a two-step process. I took apart the cooktop to see what parts were neded. Screws were all rusted, I had to drill ome out. The burner gaskets broke during the process and needed replacement. One of the burners had deformed due to excess heat.
