A molded barrier insulator that protects wiring and terminals from shorting and heat exposure behind appliance control panels or heating components. Replaces damaged or melted insulators to restore safe electrical separation and reduce arcing risk. What it does:

  • Provides electrical insulation and physical separation between terminals, wires, and metal chassis
  • Helps prevent short circuits, arcing, and heat damage to nearby wiring and components
  • Reduces risk of component-to-chassis conductivity caused by melted or shifted insulation
  • Commonly replaced when the original shows burning, cracking, deformation, or melting

Install notes:
