This sensor assembly detects moisture levels inside the oven cavity, typically used to support auto-cook or convection functions that rely on humidity readings. It mounts inside the oven and connects to the control board via a wire harness. The Wall Oven Capacitor Motor is an OEM part for GE wall ovens. Located inside the oven cavity, this motor is responsible for turning the convection fan which circulates hot air for even baking and roasting.
Symptoms of a bad capacitor motor include:
Causes of failure can be wear over time, damage from debris inside the oven, or occasional voltage fluctuations which can degrade motor components.

Easily replaced the Range Oven Sensor, $15.91, at the back of the interior oven & that was it! All oven features work fine & my wife set the oven for the clean cycle earlier today. So far, so good!
