Ordered correct replacement parts (your online form helped to identify correct valves 2 had black dot on inside stem for back small burner 1 had red dot for larger front burner). locked stove, turned off gas, unplugged cord. removed knobs, 5 screws and front plate also removed L shaped plate below knobs for better access to comp. fittings. pulled off ignitior controls loosened compression fittings (hard to get wrench on nut but doable), removed screw holding valve to manifold. reversed order... 1, Removed roller tray front stoppers from each side. 2. Pulled out empty top rack from dishwasher. 3. Removed existing top rack roller. 4. Inserted new roller where old one was located. 5. Repeated for each roller. 6. Inserted top rack back into dishwasher. 7. Enjoyed using both racks again!! Read more

Replaced the actuator pad on the Whirlpool Gold Series, releasing the electronic menu pad to get to the water activator pad was the biggest hurdle. The release tabs are underneath the menu pad and you may feel as if you may break them when releasing them. They did not break but I did hold by breath. Read more

We scoured the web and there are few references to this so I want to add it in case it helps. Replacing hinges solved the popping opening issue. We could not solve our dishwasher door issue after a number of other tries: Latch, Catch, Ropes that attach to the springs that pull the door closed. I tend to believe the solve could be different b/c all these things work together. But for us, we were skeptical that the hinge swap would work and we were very pleasantly surprised. Read more

I removed the fresh food ice maker found the drain tube for ice maker frozen. This was causing the back of the unit to rust out. This also caused the water to run down the back of the unit the into the duct work and into the freezer causing ice buildup. I then defrosted the freezer removed the rear duct work and the freezer drain pan cover. I found the freezer drain was not draining. Removed the plastic shield, then unscrewed old bulb. Screwed in new bulb. New bulb has a slightly different screw base. Looked in several stores that carry appliance bulbs and could not find any bulbs that matched the unusual screw base. Replacing the snap-in plastic shield was difficult. It might have been easier if I had taken the freezer drawer out. Read more

Originally thought it was the evap fan motor, possibly the control board. Turns out it was the latter but only way to know for sure was to replace fan first. Shipping was fast and the parts were good. Read more
