• Not drying dishes properly

The solenoid that opened the air vent for drying was broken so it was open during the wash cycle allowing water to escape into the air duct. Found the part at SearsParts and AppliancePartsPro, and Sears was $15 more expensive. I ordered on Friday from AppliancePartsPro and selected standard shipping and the part arrive the next day (Saturday). Amazing service. AppliancePartsPro will be my first stop in the future. Replaced spray arms and tube. Found all had debris in them and prohibited water pressure from reaching items. After replacement everything comes out sparkling. Don't understand how the spray arms getting plugged. Almost like waste water is recycled. Ordered a new detergent dispenser that arrived within two days. Removed screws on the inside of door that removes the front door panel. The detergent dispenser is held on by a bracket with six screws. There is one plugin that needs to be disconnected. Everything is reinstalled as before. It work as before. Read more

This was a very simple repair. It was done in about an hour. It involves disconnecting the dishwasher, emptying the water from the inside, taking it out and flipping it over, and replacing the diverter motor. This repair is done on the underside of the dishwasher, nothing to disconnect inside (just remember to remove the baskets). • Leaking

I replaced the pump drain assembly. The flapper valve was included in the assembly, so I did not need to order that. On previous repairs, the old drain hose was tricky to reinstall, so I replaced it and the hose clamp.The silverware basket had holes in the bottom and required replacement. Initially performed troubleshooting over the phone with Bosch customer support and did preliminary research on the web. Ultimately had to call out service technician to isolate/confirm problem. • Will not drain

I checked the drain hose for blocking at the garbage disposal and then at the connection point to the dishwasher. The hose was clear and nothing was obviously obstructing where the drain hose connects to the dishwasher. At this point I Googled the model number with the term "will not drain" and immediately landed on the AppliancePartsPros.com website. DIY, changed motor and sump. Put a dab of valve lubricant on seal. Wet outer seal of sump to get it to seat in bottom of tub. Cleaned electrical connectors corroded by leak. Coated connectors with dielectric grease. Had to buy additional clamp. Two clamps came in the sump package but both fit the smaller hose only. Neither fit the large hose. I wish the correct clamps were included. Home improvement store clamp is a little too wide to fit between ridges in large hose. Read more

Ordered new top rack and changed out the rusty one. Taking the washer arm off the old one and putting it on the new one was a bit challenging but my husband is good with those things and it went well. Beware that NO instructions come with the rack and there is a bagful of parts that are probably if you want to change rollers or something. Read more
