Ordered a new bracket for the heating element because of all the melted plastic on it. Also ordered a new lower washer arm. Both came quickly and the lower arm I can no longer get from the manufacturer. Both installed quickly and worked like there was never anything wrong. Saved me a lot of money and didn’t have to replace the dishwasher. Will order from here anytime I need to replace parts for any of my appliances. Read more

Looked online, appeared to be door switch or control panel. Tried door switch first, a $30 part. Installed new door switch and washer started right up and appears to be fixed. Have not tried full wash cycle yet, but problem appears to be fixed. I decided to buy part from AppliancePartsPros.com because I could return the part if it did not correct the problem, no one else offered such a deal. I suspected the 'circulation pump' to be the culprit. I could not find a 'circulation pump' so I deduced via the picture schematics it must be the 'casing assembly, pump' I found on the website. I have heard there have been issues with the 'drain pump' so I also ordered the 'case assembly' on this site which is an odd name for the drain pump. 1st we took the inside washer arms out and made sure they were clean and not blocked by something . When That failed, I called a local appliance repairman . After 2 messsges and absolutely no return call, I went on line and googled what could cause the problem. It recommended replacing the pump motor assembly . So we decided to try it. Ordered part. Dishwasher worked fine except the top rack would keep coming off the rails, could see the rollers needed replacement. Washer is 10 years old, and in that time the rollers had become brittle and broken. At first tried to use old screw and washer, but washer was impossible to remove from screw as I have hard water and the calcium deposits seemingly cemented it. I took the inside plate off door. Removed old gasket. Broke styrofoam vent buffernbecause I grabbed it in the wrong place. Ordered both a gasket and vent buffer from your company. It came in 2 days as promised. I had to empty dishwasher of about 2-3 inches of water as with the door apart and knowing it would leak I had to shut off electric supply and hand empty machine first cup by cup and then towel by towel. Removed bottom cover, located leak at float switch, removed and replaced float switch kit. The toughest part of the repair was removing the Float & Retainer Assembly (in the interior of the machine tank) which broke when I pushed it back and pulled it straight up as suggested in the service manual.
