With a Phillips screw driver, on the back of the control panel there was about 6 or 7 screws to undo, to take the cover off and 2 screws holding the timer in place. Just undone those, took out old timer, made sure I took wires from old timer one at a time, and, put on new timer. Put everything back, although I had to find a couple of very small washers to make the timer fit tight, in the 2 holes it came out of. Luckily I had those or would of been a very loose timer. I looked up my dryer on this website, then ordered that one. Later put it in myself. There was a nice note in the box telling to move one terminal from the old timer to the new one if it is missing the white wire, and transfer the resistor over to that, which I did and all went well.
