Causes of a bad hot water valve include mineral or lime buildup inhibiting proper operation, worn internal components due to age and use, or damage from freezing during winter months.
Symptoms of a bad hot water valve include:
- Only cold water entering the wash tub, even on hot cycles
- Fluctuating hot water temperature during cycles
- Leaks from the hot water valve area
- Inability to select hot water temperature settings

With the basket out of the dishwasher, the plastic parts basically snap on and off... popped the broken parts off and the new parts on. The 2 wheel and mount assemblies were a little more complicated. The video on the website advises to disconnect the supply line and drain line... I didn't have to do this. Removed filter from machine and found the corner melted where fuse is located. Ordered new filter, installed, and now have power to switches.
