Required new ice bin (container) which has busted up in pieces from the stress of trying to turn while half melted ice had it jammed, something had to give. Just missed having decent ice trays. The only ones I could find were either: 1. Expensive 2. Flimsy - only lasted a couple of months 3. Silicone-bottomed that half the compartments leak after a few uses These are the wonderful old fashioned kind that are easy to use and last forever. Just didn’t think I’d find them again! Read more

I do not have the auto ice feature in my fridge. I have to depend on the old fashion ice cube trays. I watched the AppliancePartsPros.com video, which made the replacement of an ice maker look pretty easy. The only problem was that my existing wiring harness was affixed to the inside of my refrigerator, whereas in the video, the existing cord was shown as readily disconnectable, so I was unsure how to proceed. After doing all the tests to determine the problem it turned out that it was likely the motor in the ice maker. Rather than fix the immediate problem with a new motor and for just a few dollars more since they're prone to failure anyway, I eliminated potentially future problems by just replacing the whole ice maker. Money well spent and my part arrived the day after I ordered it. Read more

After doing research on broken ice bucket for an LG refrigerator on numerous sites I became totally confused on all the different #s that showed up. Contacted AppliancePartsPros. I was assured they had the part needed. Part arrived perfect match. Took more time removing part from shipping box than installing. Started off by replacing the water lines and valve, purchased from the same site. Thought I'd cured the problem, but no. Next step was to replace the icemaker, which is incredibly simple. Undo 2 screws, pop out the clips give the wiring harness a good tug and the whole lot comes out. Reverse the process to install the new one.
