This inner door panel assembly mounts to the inside of the dishwasher door and may include the detergent and rinse aid dispenser components. It provides structural support for the door and helps maintain a watertight seal during wash cycles. Replace this panel if the dispenser is broken, the door seal at the bottom is damaged, or if you notice water leaking from the front of the dishwasher.
Replacing the door gasket first did nothing to fix the problem, but that was a very fast and easy job compared to replacing this inner door liner assembly. There's a rubber gasket along the bottom of this liner piece that is not sold separately. Incredible ripoff! The rubber piece loosely hooks under to prevent water from splashing out when the door is opened during the wash cycle. This is a metal liner that sits inside the broil drawer at the bottom of the range, protecting the cabinet floor from grease, drips, and heat damage. It provides a smooth, cleanable surface beneath the broiler element or heating area. Replace this liner if it is rusted, warped, or has burn-through holes that allow grease to reach the range cabinet.
Thanks to your wonderful call centre here in Cleveland, I ordered the door front, drawer front and the drawer liner and on Sunday put it all together and its as good as new now I just don't know what I did before I knew you guys as I have done so many jobs myself and if I had called a tradesman in, it would have cost me a lot of money!
