Everything works great, but my Jenn-Air stove is more than 15 years old and really needed a face lift. • Little to no heat when baking

The delivery of the element was superfast, less than 24 hrs. Unplug the Stove from the receptical! Took a phippips screwdriver and took out the 2 screws holding it, and tilted it upwards a bit and pulled the element out about 3 inches an unhooked the wires. Hooked the wires up to the new element and pushed it back into the holes and put the 2 screws back in and turned the stove on and that was all there was to that. Read more

In an attempt to clean the range from the grease-gunk build-up, I had to remove the burner heads. Unfortunately, the 2 most used burner heads had immovable screws that locked them into the orifices underneath. Replaced the door trim by removing the 2 screws holding the oven handle on, then removing the 4 screws across the bottom of the door. lifted off the door trim with the plastic door cap. removed the door trim from the cap by sliding it out. attached the new door trim with the 4 screws that had been removed before. then slid the new glass into place. next i slid the plastic door cap onto the new door trim and the glass and centered the glass evenly over the door trim. finally reattached the... 1) I installed 4 ea new Whirlpool 700855K switches. (The old switches had INF-240P-871 stamped on them. 700855K was the cross-referenced P/N.) The installation was easy. There is slight difference in the terminal arrangement: 1) the old switch has raised terminals whereas the new switch has recessed terminals (for safety), and 2) the terminal markings are slightly different: The old switch has L1/L2/P/H1/H2 (5 terminals).
