Kenmore / Sears Range Parts

In an attempt to clean the range from the grease-gunk build-up, I had to remove the burner heads. Unfortunately, the 2 most used burner heads had immovable screws that locked them into the orifices underneath. 1) I installed 4 ea new Whirlpool 700855K switches. (The old switches had INF-240P-871 stamped on them. 700855K was the cross-referenced P/N.) The installation was easy. There is slight difference in the terminal arrangement: 1) the old switch has raised terminals whereas the new switch has recessed terminals (for safety), and 2) the terminal markings are slightly different: The old switch has L1/L2/P/H1/H2 (5 terminals). My husband and myself didn't agree on which part was the exact problem. He felt it was the valve. I felt it was the ignitor/ orifice. And we both agreed the Harness-Ignitor needed to be replaced. Glass was very difficult to replace, but I was able to do it after some trial and error. Replacing the seal was very easy. Read more

Burners were an exact match for the originals and the pans fit perfectly. Vastly improved the appearance of an old cook top and allowed us to to not have to replace it before our home goes up for sale. Read more

I replaced the old control panel with a new one. I also changed out the door seal to help prevent the control panel from going bad a second time. It was the heat from the oven getting to the keypad on the control panel that caused it to go bad. Read more

It's was easy to replace. Unplugged the oven from the wall, unscrew the two screws that hold the element to the back of the oven and pulled it away from the oven. Then just pull off the two wires at the end of the bake element. Install the new one in the revers order, easy. Read more

• Gas igniter glows, but will not light
• Won't start

I removed all the individual burners so I could lift the stainless cover to expose the igniter wires. I cleaned all the wire connections and the 4 good igniters and replaced the one bad igniter. Reassembly was easy and everything worked properly when done. Video of repair was helpful and all parts ordered were correct and shipped promptly and I will definitely use AppliancePartsPros again. • Door won't open after self cleaning cycle

I knew the door latch was suppose to lock for self clean and it wasn't, so I took the back off and after tracing out wires and the linkage to the door latch, determined that it was a faulty motor on the latch lock. I thought it was the burners and ordered four burners. When they arrived I thought three of them were wrong parts so I ordered three others and scheduled a return of three I had just received. I then realized it was not the burner but the diffuser plated on top of the burners. I cancelled the new order, arranged a return of the four initial burners and ordered four diffuser plated. Ordered and replaced the front burner electrodes and orifices. I had to swap out the orifices because the new ones came with natural gas orifices and my stove uses propane. Read more

Dismantled the upper part of the stove and removed old part. Had to super glue plastic parts of the underneath part where the touch pad is to be attached to. Put in new touch pad. Worked fantastic. Read more
