This assembly includes the auger motor that rotates to push ice from the ice bucket through the dispenser chute. The motor drives the auger blade, breaking up clumped ice and moving it toward the dispenser opening when you press the ice lever or button. Replace this assembly if ice is not dispensing, you hear the motor humming but the auger isn't turning, or the ice maker is no longer producing or delivering ice.
