• Door won't open after self cleaning cycle

I knew the door latch was suppose to lock for self clean and it wasn't, so I took the back off and after tracing out wires and the linkage to the door latch, determined that it was a faulty motor on the latch lock. I got on line and Appliance Parts Pros was the first place that I found the part. I was surprised that it wasn't real expensive, but I kept looking for a cheaper price only to come back to order it from APP. It took a little longer then I was hoping but wasn’t terrible. If the burner is very old at all make sure to get the new screws. Both of mine snapped when trying to remove them. The new one works great. Read more

Just screwed on the new handle. The new handle did not come with threaded holes, but this was OK because the screws that came with the stove were self tapping. This takes a bit more effort and the proper screwdriver, but creates the threads in the handle as you turn the screw. Kudos to A-P Pros for the quick processing and delivery of the order. Read more

I was able to clean the Oven Temp Sensor with 99% alcohol. Then replaced All switches (after breaker was isolated). Put it all back the way I found it. Turned on breaker. Tested all functions and had no reports of Fan Code re-appearing since. Read more

Burners were an exact match for the originals and the pans fit perfectly. Vastly improved the appearance of an old cook top and allowed us to to not have to replace it before our home goes up for sale. Read more

The delivery of the element was superfast, less than 24 hrs. Unplug the Stove from the receptical! Took a phippips screwdriver and took out the 2 screws holding it, and tilted it upwards a bit and pulled the element out about 3 inches an unhooked the wires. Hooked the wires up to the new element and pushed it back into the holes and put the 2 screws back in and turned the stove on and that was all there was to that. Read more
