• Door won't open after self cleaning cycle

I knew the door latch was suppose to lock for self clean and it wasn't, so I took the back off and after tracing out wires and the linkage to the door latch, determined that it was a faulty motor on the latch lock. I went on your website found the parts needed to make the repairs. I watched the short video on installation. The parts arrived just a few days after I placed the order. I finished the repair in less than an hour and had to wait a few minutes to test the switch since the power was off and on due to a wind storm. Went to YouTube for pictorial on the repair. Found it to be an easy replacement. Made a wiring chart, followed the reverse order of wiring. Installed part checked that part floated on its spring mounts and did not touch anything. Checked my wiring a second time agents my chart-making shore all spade connections were tight. lowered and secured top turned power back on and tested part.. Part functions correctly. Read more

• Little to no heat when baking

The delivery of the element was superfast, less than 24 hrs. Unplug the Stove from the receptical! Took a phippips screwdriver and took out the 2 screws holding it, and tilted it upwards a bit and pulled the element out about 3 inches an unhooked the wires. Hooked the wires up to the new element and pushed it back into the holes and put the 2 screws back in and turned the stove on and that was all there was to that. Read more

Everything works great, but my Jenn-Air stove is more than 15 years old and really needed a face lift. Very easy fix. Turned of power at breaker. Removed oven door by lowering two "keepers" on the hinges for the oven door and sliding the door out of the oven. Removed the trim plate at bottom of oven by pushing it up.. Removed 2 screws that mount to the frame of the cabinet at the bottom that the trim plate hangs from. Then removed 4 screws that hold the oven into the cabinet at either side of the oven. Put two 5 gallon buckets in front of the oven and slid the oven out onto the side-by-side... Read more

Unfortunately, the 2 most used burner heads had immovable screws that locked them into the orifices underneath. 1) I installed 4 ea new Whirlpool 700855K switches. (The old switches had INF-240P-871 stamped on them. 700855K was the cross-referenced P/N.) The installation was easy. There is slight difference in the terminal arrangement: 1) the old switch has raised terminals whereas the new switch has recessed terminals (for safety), and 2) the terminal markings are slightly different: The old switch has L1/L2/P/H1/H2 (5 terminals).
