The Motor Rotor is an OEM part for Whirlpool electric top-loading washers. Located internally at the center of the washer basket, it transmits power from the motor to spin water from clothes during extraction cycles.
Symptoms of a faulty motor rotor include:
- Slow or inefficient spin that leaves clothes dripping wet
- Abnormal vibrations felt from the tub during spin
- Premature winding motor sounds due to rotor imbalance
Causes involve normal wear from years of moving wet laundry loads. Damage could also occur from objects left in pockets that damaged the rotor during spin.
This OEM replacement is compatible with additional Whirlpool, Kenmore, and Maytag top-loading washers.
