Kenmore / Sears Washer Motor

This 1/4 HP motor assembly replaces a worn drive motor to restore proper drive power and rotation. It's a direct-fit mechanical motor intended to bring moving components back to OEM performance and reliable operation. What it does

• Provides drive power for the appliance's rotating components to restore normal operation.
• Replaces a failed or noisy motor that causes little or no rotation, intermittent operation, or a humming/stalling condition.

• Disconnect power before servicing; follow all safety precautions.

The Motor Rotor is an OEM part for Whirlpool electric top-loading washers. Located internally at the center of the washer basket, it transmits power from the motor to spin water from clothes during extraction cycles.  

Symptoms of a faulty motor rotor include: 

• Slow or inefficient spin that leaves clothes dripping wet   
• Abnormal vibrations felt from the tub during spin
• Premature winding motor sounds due to rotor imbalance

Causes involve normal wear from years of moving wet laundry loads. Damage could also occur from objects left in pockets that damaged the rotor during spin.

This OEM replacement is compatible with additional Whirlpool, Kenmore, and Maytag top-loading washers.

This stator is the stationary motor assembly that creates the magnetic field to drive the washer motor. It restores proper motor function so the washer can agitate and spin reliably when the rotor and drive are working. What it does:

• Generates the magnetic field needed for the washer motor to turn the rotor and tub
• Replaces a worn or damaged stator that can cause humming, no-spin, no-agitate, or intermittent motor operation
• Works with the rotor and motor assembly to deliver consistent torque during wash and spin cycles
• Designed to fit the original motor housing and align with factory mounting points
