I ordered the two drum rollers that have a bearing in the center..they sit on metal shafts and freeroll. I ordered the new hinge and the cap they said would be needed, took the door apart and installed new hinge. Only problem, wish they told me I needed 4 of the caps, for one hinge and each cap was 11.95 x 4...pretty spendy. Fortunately I was able to reuse 3 of my worn ones for now. Read more

This was a Maytag DE312 actually a Whirlpool labeled as Maytag) and is 27 years old. Replaced motor, drive belt and drum rollers. One tricky part was the motor because the new motor comes with integral starter and it was necessary to cut off existing female spade connectors on some wires and crimp on new connectors. The replacement from AppliancePartsPros was a perfect match at a good price. The site also provided enough information to be pretty certain the timer was the source of our problem. Once I swapped out the timer the dryer ran perfectly again. The job was very easy except for 1 problem. The timer is mounted to the control panel using 2 pinch/spring clips, 1 above and 1 below. I research it online and found that my timer knob skirt was cracked, watched the video online to see how to fix it, ordered the part………it came within 2.5 days.
