I replaced the Oven Igniter. After ensuring that it was the igniter, by turning on the stove and taking out the oven bottom. Watch if it turns red. If not, then either the wiring is faulty, or the igniter went bad. The bulb was due to a loose and broken light bulb, can't use any normal bulb, these ones are specially made to withstand the heat. I disassembled the top of the range and looked at the problem burner. It looked like there was a spark at all three other burners but not the problem burner. There was a visible spark at the connector between the wiring harness and the ceramic igniter but that spark wasn't making it up to the top of the igniter where it can light the burner. You will need a special "star" socket driver for this process. You can find it at any auto parts retailer, I got mine at the AutoZone. First unscrew the 2 "star" screws and unplug the igniter lead from the old burner then plug the igniter lead into the new burner igniter and re-screw the new burner back on the range. It was a very easy swap out process. In the process, I broke one of the screw... this is the hard part of all trying to remove the broken screw. Remember to soak the screws... Read more

So I ordered the burner and Ithe switch because I wasn't sure what part was defective. I pulled the oven out and I removed the 6 1/4 inch screws on each side of the glass top as well as the 2 Phillips head screws on the back, removing the 2 1/4 screws on the shield on the back gIves you easier access to them, then lifted the glass top up on the front to access the switch and burners.
