The fan control switch is the panel-mounted switch that sends power to the appliance's fan motor. Replacing a worn switch restores reliable on/off control and proper airflow so the fan starts and stops when it should.
- Provides user-operated on/off power to the fan/blower motor
- Helps regulate airflow for cooling, venting, or convection depending on model
- Typical symptoms: fan won't run, runs continuously, intermittent operation, or a loose/broken switch shaft
- Mounts behind the control panel and is actuated by the exterior knob/lever
What's included: One fan control switch Install notes:
- Disconnect power at the breaker before servicing
- Remove the control knob/actuator and panel trim to access the switch
- Note wire positions or take a photo; transfer wires one at a time to the new switch
- Secure with the original hardware, restore power, and test operation
