Disassembled washer, found that 2 out of the 3 basket support legs had cracked through. Unfortunately, support cannot be bought except as an assembly, so had to spend almost $300 for the part. Here's the story. All my appliances except the dryer broke. Yeah. talk about bad luck. First I tried to fix the refrigerator. Replaced both motherboard and inverter board. I noticed the rubber seal (bellow) was damaged near the bottom of the bellow. It looks like removing clothes from the machine had worn away and eventually ripped away some of the seal. This is a small rubber o-ring that seals the drain pump filter cap on a front-load washer. It creates a watertight seal between the filter cap and the pump housing, preventing leaks during the wash and drain cycles. Replace this o-ring if you notice water dripping or pooling near the drain pump filter area at the front bottom of the washer.
