Fixes a microwave turntable that won't spin, stalls, or makes noise. Includes mounting gasket for smooth rotation. Easy to install in 30 minutes.
I took the advice of another buyer and replaced the magnetron, capacitor, and diode from my microwave (make sure you discharge the capacitor). It was not a problem at all to do, I did find an excellent video on YouTube on how to test all of these components and almost anything else in a microwave. It’s called Microwave Oven Troubleshooting in Minutes- Step by Step by electronicsNmore. It was the best thing I watched. Turns out my magnetron was the only thing that was bad and it’s the most... Fix a microwave vent fan that won't remove smoke or steam with this ventilation motor. Restores proper airflow to clear cooking odors effectively.
I replaced the exhaust fan. It works like a brand new machine now. Read more
Turntable stops rotating or turns briefly then stops? This motor restores rotation in microwaves. Requires bottom panel access and unit removal.
This is a small synchronous motor used in microwave ovens to drive components such as the turntable or air damper. It operates at a steady rotational speed to ensure consistent movement during cooking. Replace this motor if the turntable stops spinning, rotates intermittently, or if you hear a humming noise without any movement.
Ordered the new motor and upon arrival, installed it. The only concern I had was that the motor I ordered was not specified for this model (Panasonic), but for a General Electric. (I could not locate one specified for the model I had). However, the specs for the new GE motor were exactly the same, so I took a chance and as it turned out, worked out well. Read more
This small electric motor mounts beneath the microwave floor and drives the turntable tray, rotating food during cooking for even heat distribution. It connects to the glass tray via a coupler or roller guide. Replace this motor if the turntable stops rotating, turns intermittently, or makes grinding or humming noises while the microwave is running.
Replaced the upper door microswitch which was stuck in. Easy to identify even without a meter. Needed a special secure bit for screws on back. Hardest part was probably removing the oven from cabinet mount. Read more
Fix a microwave turntable that won't rotate with this motor replacement. Solves spinning issues when motor receives power but fails to turn the tray.
Replaced the cover took care of the sparking and replaced the motor to fix the plate not turning. Read more
If your microwave overheats or ventilation has stopped working, the fan motor likely needs replacement. Circulates air to regulate temperature.
This AC fan motor drives the cooling fan inside a microwave or combination cooking unit, circulating air to prevent internal components from overheating during operation. It helps protect the magnetron, control board, and other electronics by dissipating heat. If your microwave overheats frequently, shuts off mid-cycle, or you no longer hear the cooling fan running, this motor likely needs replacement.
This fan motor assembly cools the magnetron inside the microwave by circulating air to prevent overheating during operation. It includes the motor and fan blade as a complete unit. Replace this assembly if the microwave shuts off unexpectedly due to overheating, makes unusual noises during use, or the fan is no longer spinning.
The microwave was shutting off after operating fine for a minute or two. Found that the fan that cools the magnetron had its fan blade assembly spinning free on the fan motor's output shaft. Tried to epoxy the two and failed. Ordered a new fan assembly and it is fixed. Read more
Fixes uneven cooking or browning in convection mode. This motor circulates heated air throughout the cavity for consistent baking results.
Fix a noisy or stopped cooling fan in your microwave with this motor replacement. Common when fan makes grinding sounds then quits. 20-minute DIY repair.
The fan that cools the main unit had started making noise a few weeks ago, I tried cleaning and lubricating the bearings, but the fan would make noise when it heated up, then finally stopped. I replaced the fan, it was up and running within 20 minutes of receiving the parts. Read more
Microwave not cooling or fan not running? This fan motor circulates air and cools internal components. Moderate DIY repair in 30-45 minutes.
This motor drives the convection fan inside a microwave oven with convection cooking capability. It circulates heated air throughout the oven cavity to provide even baking and roasting results. Replace this motor if the convection fan fails to spin, makes unusual noises, or if food cooks unevenly during convection mode.
This evaporator fan moves cold air across the evaporator and through the refrigerator cabinet to keep temperatures even and food properly chilled. Replacing a failing fan restores airflow and helps the cooling system work efficiently. What it does:
Turntable not rotating or making rumbling noise? This drive motor restores smooth rotation. DIY-friendly repair—remove 5-6 screws from bottom panel.
Opened up hinged bottom of microwave and saw that the old motor had come loose from its secure position. I decided to replace the old motor with the new one and secured it into place, which was very simple--just a matter of unplugging the old motor's connection; plugging in the new one; securing the motor in place with one screw; closing up the hinged bottom; putting in the new coupler; and checking to see if it works. It did! Read more
