This thermal cut-out is a temperature-sensing safety device that helps protect the refrigerator's defrost/heater circuit by opening the circuit when temperatures exceed safe levels. It prevents overheating and helps maintain normal defrost cycles. What it does:
If your microwave overheats or the vent fan runs constantly, this fixed thermostat may need replacement. Controls heating and safety shutoff.
Microwave won't heat or shows sensor error? The cavity thermostat regulates temperature for proper heating. Straightforward DIY repair with multimeter testing.
Initially my wife googled it. She found an article that indicated what the trouble may be. I used a multimeter and determined which parts were faulty. Read more
Usually ships within 4 - 14 days
Microwave suddenly lost power or won't heat? A faulty thermostat cavity can cause total failure. This housing secures the sensor for proper alignment.
Opened the back panal, requires Torex Saftey sockets, located the wiring schematic and traced the power using a multi-meter until I found where the power wasn't crossing. It was the oven heat sensor which had somehow tripped and is not a resetable part. The folks at ApplianceParts Pros helped me find the right part and I had it in 2 days. Thanks! Read more
Microwave won't heat or stops mid-cycle? This magnetron thermostat prevents overheating by cutting power when temperatures spike, then resets when cool.
This fixed thermostat monitors and limits temperature to protect the appliance's system and components. It's a simple, non-adjustable sensor/limit switch used where a set cutoff temperature is required for safe operation. What it does:
Removied the heatcordes and then the four scerws from the top, then rased the top and removied the two wirer. Read more
This thermostat is the refrigerator temperature control that senses cabinet temperature and cycles cooling to help maintain set temperatures. It replaces a failed control to restore reliable temperature regulation. What it does:
This thermal fuse stops excessive heat build-up by opening the circuit when temperatures get unsafe, protecting the appliance and its heating components. Replace a failed fuse to restore normal heating and safety functions. What it does
Microwave not heating or overheating? A faulty thermostat disrupts temperature control. This part helps regulate safe operating temperatures. DIY repair.
Microwave won't heat or shuts down unexpectedly? A blown thermal fuse is often the cause. This safety component prevents overheating. DIY repair.
Chatted with customer service online, I was given part number to order. Delivery was timely. I was told where I could fine the fuse in the microwave. I replaced the fuse myself. Thank you again for the great customer service. Read more
Prevents magnetron overheating in your microwave. This cavity over-temperature thermostat shuts off power when temperatures exceed safe limits.
If your microwave oven won't heat properly or overcooks food, the thermostat may have failed. This temperature regulator restores accurate heating.
Fix microwave overheating or not heating issues with this thermostat cavity housing. Secures temperature sensor for reliable control. Easy install.
