Refrigerator Hinge Parts

I ordered a refrigerator door hinge, hinge pin, and washer. The descriptions and pictures imply that these items are sold separately. However, the hinge I received was an assembly that included a pin and washer. I replaced the original hinge assembly with the new assembly, but the door still sagged (not as badly as before). We bought a used fridge and forgot to get the hardware to mount the doors. Looked up the model on your website. Using the pictures I was able to order just the parts I needed and not to duplicate anything (or leave anything out!). Order and received hinges and the parts for the doors that were lost. After plugging it in the open door chimes started and would not stop. I call appliance Parts customer service and tech Dept. They were very patient and helpful with my ordering the parts I needed and tried to get the chimes to stop. The People I talked to were very helpful and patient in trying to fix this problem. Removed door and replaced bottom bearing. Read more

Easy fix. Took two screws out of top door hinge. Lifted door off of bottom hinge. Laid door on blanket on floor. One cam part went on the hinge that was on the fridge, snapped in place. One cam part went on bottom of door, one screw to replace. Replaced door on bottom hinge then put top hinge back on. Job done. Read more

The left hinge works on the right side as well as the left. All you have to do is unscrew the little plastic post and move it to the other hole. So even though the web might say that the left hinge assembly is not compatible with your fridge, or that the right hinge assembly is no longer available, it will still work. In analyzing my problem, I just couldn't believe the door stopper and hinge bushing were causing it. After digging around, there was just nothing else that could be causing my problem, so I ordered the parts and made the replacement. I was shocked at how this completely solved my problem.
