Ice maker producing broken cubes or leaking? The ice cube tray often cracks over time. Simple DIY repair—remove 2 screws, unplug, and replace. Video guide.
The amount of water being dispensed into the ice cube tray was excessive, causing overflow of the tray. The water then ran into the collection bin and even down the side walls of the freezer creating a huge block of ice in the bin, and ice all over the lower shelves as well. The excessive build up of ice caused the cube tray to crack and also split the little silicone water grommet that connects to the water delivery tube which directs water into the cube tray. Look out for that little tube... Read more
Plastic cam riser that mounts on the bottom of your freezer door, working with the lower hinge to align and support the door. Replace if cracked or broken.
The repair itself is pretty basic, remove broken parts and replace with new, but the process is much more challenging on the freezer door than on the fridge side since the water lines are routed through the hinge. This is definitely a two person job and you will be laying on the floor to do it. 1st thing is to turn the water off and remove the ice bucket. Remove top trim piece and release upper hinge assembly, support the door. The top hinge must rotate up to slip over the wiring bundle,... Read more

Replaces broken or missing end cap on refrigerator freezer door handle. Snaps into place to complete handle appearance. Commonly cracks or breaks off.
Replaced broken handle support bracket (part #AP5620448) and cap (part #AP5620751). Used a phillips head screwdriver and allen wrench. Pliers also came in very handy. If replacing cap and support bracket, be sure to install cap before support bracket, otherwise you'll have trouble installing the cap. I ended up not needing to replace the fixer handle (part #AP4372038), but I'll keep it around just in case. Read more
Fix a refrigerator that stopped making ice with this ice maker assembly. Common repair for no ice production. Easy 15-20 minute DIY installation.
Tl;dr: Watch the repair video FIRST. This will take you less than 15m if you do watch the video. You need to remove a door panel, you can't directly replace the icemaker. Even without doing that, it took me less than 30 minutes. 4 screws, a panel removal, a couple of computer-style power plugs, and you'll have ice again no problem. Stupid easy. Initially, we did the button reset on the old icemaker, and it didn't beep or anything, so that was enough troubleshooting for me to replace the... Read more
Seals the refrigerator door to keep cold air in and prevent condensation. Replace when cracked, torn, or not sealing properly. Confirm fit by model.
First, I removed the old gaskets, which was a very easy task since they are held in the doors by rubber beads in recessed slots. I installed the new right door gasket in less than 10 minutes by gradually pushing the retainer bead into the door recessed slot with finger pressure until it was seated properly. The left door bead was somewhat more difficult to install into the bead slot, because the recessed bead slot is covered by a hinged flap on its left edge that doesn't permit easy access.... Read more

After cleaning the seal the freezer continued to build frost so I started searching for a replacement freezer door seal. I also need to mention that Appliance Parts Pros had the best price.... Read more
Plastic cover that protects the ice maker temperature sensor. Replaces broken, cracked, or missing covers to secure the sensor wire and foam insulation.
Samsung refrrigerator. it started when the setting was on cubes but was putting out crushed ice. then months later the water refill was running down into the ice bucket causing a massive block of ice in the bucket. look closely at the first two or three cubes in the ice tray after they unload. mine were not dumping and staying in the tray. when the water refill kicked on it would overfill the tray (because of the leftover cubes remaining in the tray) and would run down into the ice bucket... Replaces broken or worn center mullion assembly between French doors. Includes internal spring mechanism. Needed when flap won't stay closed or spring fails.
The easiest repair I've ever done. I originally thought (after watching some youtube tutorials) I would need to replace the spring on the flap, but it is not accessible on our Samsung model. Undid the two screws holding the flap to the fridge door, pop it up off the other supports, and un-clip it from the power cord. Put the new flap on the same way and all done! Delivery of the part was crazy fast too! Read more
Securely houses your refrigerator's water filter for clean, purified water. Replace if leaking after filter changes or cracked from wear. Confirm fit by model.
After looking online and discovering that others who had used a knockoff brand filter to "save money" had the same problem, I concluded the only solution was to replace the filter housing. Found the one I needed on AppliancePartsPros.com. Most important to me was the video explaining how to replace the filter housing - it made the task a snap to complete. The price was also competitive with other sources. Shipping was half that charged by Samsung. Not only was it cheaper, but it was also super... Read more
Dryer won't start or keeps running with door open? The door switch detects door position for safe operation. DIY-friendly repair with video guide.
I am so blessed. I went online. Found the brackets. Watch the video for the brackets I chose. And lucky me. I did not have to pull the dishwasher out. The installer did not have it flush under the counter. So I was able to pull the dishwasher forward unhook the damage brackets and insert the new. Put the dishwasher back in. Two screws. Now the balanced and secure dishwasher washes better than ever and I did not have to pay an extraordinary fee for a repairman. I'm 68 and take care of a 72 year... Read more
Ice maker stopped making ice or freezing into a solid block? This ice maker assembly restores function in 15-20 minutes with just a screwdriver.
Purchased both the ice maker assembly and the valve assembly to replace the parts as needed. replaced the ice maker assembly first, and this fixed my problem.
