Checked circuit breaker to d/w first. Good. Went to website to see no power issues. Most all of them mentioned the noise filter being the problem. Removed filter from machine and found the corner melted where fuse is located. Ordered new filter, installed, and now have power to switches. After unplugging the washer from the electrical outlet, the top of the washer was removed without a problem in order to allow easy access to the Central Control Unit (CCU) at the top of the back end of the washer. Got help from the internet to diagnose the problem. Seens that the neutral drain part of the transmission will not shift to spin unless there is a pause after draining. Thought the problem might be in the transmission but found the timer wasn;t allowing a pause after draining.therefore the machine would not spin. Replaced the timer and problem was solved. On-line chat with AppliancePartsPros told me the error code was was for motor speed and they sent me a .pdf file on what to do to T/S it. Following the sheet I checked motor and Tack resistance and wiring - all OK, so I ordered a Motor Controller Ckt board assy. It arrived in 24 hours, during that time i watched the replacement videos and removed the old part. I replaced the timer...I talked with a tech to make sure the timer I ordered was the correct one. Watching the video was a great help especially with removing the knob. Plus the video showed a couple of tips. While not exactly the same timer it was very helpful. As a side note the timer arrived so fast I was shocked. A semi-difficult job made very easy. Read more

I had a beeping problem with my washer whereby it kept on beeping when I turned it on. After researching the issue online I saw that the control panel was the issue so I ordered a new one and installed it and voila!!! Problem solved!! It was an easy fix and the only hard part was lifting the dryer from the washer so as to replace the part. Read more

Replaced timer motor. Hardest part was removing timer knob on this model. You need to access the back of broken timer knob and PULL OUT THE WHITE PIECE THAT LOOKS LIKE THE BACK OF THE KNOB. PULL IT COMPLETELY OUT AND KNOB WILL RELEASE. The rest is easy. Read more

I replaced the timer, and the problem was solved. The only problem I had was the screw holes in the new timer would not accept the screws from the old timer, so I used self tapping screws. Otherwise, a straightforward fix and fairly easy to do. Read more
