Oven won't heat to set temperature or display shows error codes? This electronic control board manages bake/broil circuits and clock functions. DIY repair.
This noise filter assembly is an electronic component that suppresses electromagnetic interference (EMI) generated by the washing machine's motor and control circuits. It helps prevent electrical noise from feeding back into your household wiring. Replace this part if your washer fails to start, shuts off unexpectedly, or causes interference with nearby electronics.
Checked circuit breaker to d/w first. Good. Went to website to see no power issues. Most all of them mentioned the noise filter being the problem. Removed filter from machine and found the corner melted where fuse is located. Ordered new filter, installed, and now have power to switches. All the information I found on the website really made this a easy job to get done. Read more
Fix a dishwasher that won't start, select cycles, or respond to buttons. This electronic control board restores full functionality. DIY-friendly repair.
My dishwasher just stopped working one day. I know my way around tools but wouldn’t call myself a “handyman“. When I opened up the front panel on the dishwasher I saw that the Control board was black and some of the wires had burnt through. I looked around YouTube and found some videos on how to replace the control board and wire harness, and then ordered the parts from appliance parts pros. All in all, it was an easy fix and took me a couple of hours to install the new control board and wire... Read more
Fix a washer that won't advance cycles, stops mid-cycle, or repeats steps. This timer controls fill, wash, rinse, drain, and spin sequences.
Was most pleased that you sent an authentic GE part as promised since another company, who advertised same, sent me a refurbished piece that was totally unusable. You also saved us a considerable amount of money. Since we are not knowledgeable about installing electrical pieces, we had the condo handyman do it. It was done quickly and efficiently and works just fine. Thank you for your good and honest service.------Phyllis Wolpow Read more
Fix a washer that won't advance cycles, skips spin, or won't drain. Timer replacement restores proper cycle progression. DIY repair in under 30 minutes.
Got help from the internet to diagnose the problem. Seens that the neutral drain part of the transmission will not shift to spin unless there is a pause after draining. Thought the problem might be in the transmission but found the timer wasn;t allowing a pause after draining.therefore the machine would not spin. Replaced the timer and problem was solved. This is the central control unit (CCU) that manages all of the washer's functions, including cycle selection, water fill, drum speed, and drain operations. It is a circuit board typically mounted inside the machine's control housing. Replace this board if the washer displays error codes, fails to start, stops mid-cycle, or if buttons and cycle selections are unresponsive.
After unplugging the washer from the electrical outlet, the top of the washer was removed without a problem in order to allow easy access to the Central Control Unit (CCU) at the top of the back end of the washer. A cell phone was used to photograph the wiring layout and connectors plugged into the CCU, and then all connectors and the harness were carefully removed from the CCU without incident. Attempting to remove the old CCU, the plastic retaining clips built into the old CCU housing broke... Read more

Timer won't advance or dryer runs continuously? This timer control restores proper cycle progression in auto and timed modes. DIY-friendly repair.
I ordered the timer and knob on Monday, they arrived around noon on Tuesday, and within an hour I had them installed and back in business. I was amazed how quickly the parts got here. The online video showing the procedure step by step was very helpful. Instead of disconnecting all the wires and having to keep up with which one went where, I moved each wire one by one and made sure I didn't get any of them in the wrong place. The only thing that slowed me down a bit was seeing which side of the... Read more
