Heating Element Parts

• Oven not heating evenly

Removed 4 screws from back panel and removed back panel. Removed 3 screws and 3 wires from heater element and removed element. Reversed procedure with new element and seal. You will need the seal! Old one crumbled apart. All took less than 10 minutes. Read more

Went to YouTube for pictorial on the repair. Found it to be an easy replacement. Made a wiring chart, followed the reverse order of wiring. Installed part checked that part floated on its spring mounts and did not touch anything. Checked my wiring a second time agents my chart-making shore all spade connections were tight. lowered and secured top turned power back on and tested part.. Part functions correctly. Read more

First swapped other working burner and the problem moved. This verified that the problem was with the burner element and not something else. I order the part from ApplianceParts. The new burner connector looked different than the old one but the new one fit fine. The time to fix was less than five minutes and required no tools. Read more

I went on line and found several appliance web sites promising to be able to get the parts to fix it. One website actually showed a video of how to fix it. It was a good video which showed everything involved and then easily showed me the parts list of the elements involved and how to fix it. I went further and actually ordered the element at about 1 or 2 AM. Read more

Open oven door removed 2 screws to lift up top then remove 1 screw at back of burner assy to let right side burner assy drop down to replace then remove wires be sure to write down where wires go look on bottom side for location of wire plugs new burner plugs may be located in different location mine was then install new burner assy Read more

It's was easy to replace. Unplugged the oven from the wall, unscrew the two screws that hold the element to the back of the oven and pulled it away from the oven. Then just pull off the two wires at the end of the bake element. Install the new one in the revers order, easy. Read more

Very easy fix. Remove oven door by just opening it slightly and pulling up. (an easy way to clean it too). Then, with a phillips screw driver, remove two screws holding the damaged element in place. Slowly pull the element toward the front a couple inched to expose the wires. Disconnect the wires (no tools needed), remove the old element and replace it with the new. I ordered new burner. New terminal block and new switch. Unplug appliance. Removed switch panel. Had 6 star screws and two Philips head screws. Removed switch and remember to keep all screws because you need to reuse them. Also suggest taking a picture of wiring so you remember were to plug them back in on switch. All in all.
